BBC One’s one-off drama Roald Dahl’s Esio Trot will premiere on New Years Day (Thursday January 1st) at 6:30pm, it has been announced.

The one-off 90 minute drama, which is a major part of BBC One’s Christmas schedule alongside the likes of The Boy In The Dress and a pair of Mrs Brown’s Boys specials, was produced by Endor Productions, directed by Dearbhla Walsh and stars Judi Dench and Dustin Hoffman.
