ITV2 Sets Premiere Date For ‘Plebs’

PlebsITV2’s new 6 episode comedy series Plebs will premiere on Monday March 25th at 10pm with a double-bill, it has been announced.

Created by Sam Leifer and Tom Basden, Plebs has been descibed as “a thoroughly modern comedy in an ancient setting.” The comedy series is set in Ancient Rome and follows three desperate young men from the suburbs as they try to get laid, hold down jobs and climb the social ladder in the big city. The comedy series stars Tom Rosenthal (Friday Night Dinner), Joel Fry (White Van Man) and Ryan Sampson (After You’ve Gone) as the three young men: Marcus, Stylax and Grumio, their lazy slave with an attitude problem. Doon Mackichan (Smack The Pony) also stars, as the boys’ ruthless boss, Flavia – an expert manipulator with a private life that’s the stuff of legend.
