Bet365 6 horse challenge – where to get tips on race schedule

If you are a horse racing fan or just like a punt on the Grand National this year, you can earn a chance to win £100,000 through Bet365’s ‘6 Horses Challenge’ competition, open for most Saturday races and major events like the Cheltenham Festival or 2024 Aintree Grand National.

This cost-free prediction game from Bet365 allows you to vie for £100,000 by accurately picking 6 winning horses, which you can watch on tv.

During the 2024 Cheltenham Festival Bet365 gave away over £355,000 in prize money over the course of the four day Festival.

What are the 6 horse challenge tips for Aintree?

13.20 – William Hill Handicap Hurdle

A 22 horse field is set to take the start for this 3 mile challenge, with Dan Skelton’s West Balboa heading the betting.

Unbeaten at Aintree, she is a worthy favourite and will attract a good deal of money. We like the look of Black Bamboo, from the John Joseph Murphy yard, and with Sean Flanagan doing the steering he is very good value at around 9/1 if you catch it quick.

Our Choice – Black Bamboo e/w.

13.55 – Mersey Novices Hurdle

Race 2 on the Saturday is this intriguing 9-runner hurdle that should be a direct clash between Brighterdaysahead saddled by Gordon Elliot, and old rival Caldwell Potter.

These two dominate the market at around 2/1 and we’d be tempted to opt for the latter, a Paul Nichols charge facing a bright future.

At a bigger price one should not discount Ile Atlantique, a Willie Mullins horse available at 13/2 and with excellent form.

Our Choice – Caldwell Porter win

14.30 – William Hill Handicap Chase

This 13-runner competition is difficult to call being a field of top entries. Leading the market marginally is Jonjo O’Neil’s Crebilly.

He will need to be more consistent with jumping than he was for his second in the Plate at Cheltenham. Ground may be a problem for a few of the favoured contenders, so we’re looking further back to find our choice.

With many bookies offering 5 places on this race we advise finding the best price on Kinondo Kwetu. The Sam England trained charge needs the ground to dry a touch so keep an eye on the going.

Our Choice – Kinondo Kwetu e/w

15.05 – Liverpool Hurdle

The 12 horse card reads like a who’s-who of old favourites and we are looking forward to this race with eagerness. Crowd darling Flooring Porter heads the market for Gavin Patrick Cromwell and this front runner can be taken at around 3/1.

Also in the mix are Sire Du Berlais – a touch disappointing in the Stayers Hurdle but not to be overlooked for Gordon Elliot – and another who disappointed in that race, Ferga O’Brien’s Crambo. Gary Morre’s Botox Has was superb last time out and is another to consider, but for us the most interesting runner is Hiddenvalley Lake.

With Rachael Blackmore on board, the Henry de Bromhead 7 year-old could be great value at 13/2 in what is sure to be a fascinating contest.

Our Choice – Hiddenvalley Lake e/w

16.00 The Grand National

So to the big one! 34 horses are scheduled to take to Aintree’s legendary turf in the 2024 Grand National, watched by unmatched numbers worldwide.

As always it’s an open race, so we’ve picked a few to look out for and remember, always back each way in the National!

Last year’s victor Corach Rambler attempts to repeat the feat for Lucinda Russell and there’s no reason why he should not.

Also to be shortlisted is Vanillier who was behind the winner in this last year and is now 9lb better off. There will be money Rachael Blackmore on de Bromhead’s Minella Indo and also for National favourite Noble Yeats, a winner two years ago and looking for a place again for Emmet Mullins.

Indeed, it is Noble Yeats that we would back as an each way prospect at an inviting 20/1. At a bigger price you might want to check out The Goffer, as the Gordon Elliot horse should be standing at the end and at 50/1 is worth a punt.

Our Choices – Noble Yeats, Vanillier, The Goffer all e/w

17.00 – Maghull Novices Chase

With the excitement of the world’s greatest steeplechase over attention turns to the Maghull Novices chase, a short two-miles offering an interesting 10-horse field. Willie Mullins fields Hercule Du Seui, and at 11/2 we can’t overlook him.

Gordon Elliot’s Found A Fifty needs serious consideration and heads the market at 2/1, while front runners Matata and Nickle Back should also be on a shortlist.

At a bigger price and of great interest to us is Henry de Bromhead’s Quilixios. A poor start in the Arkle ruined that chance but we like him here, and with Rachael Blackmore aboard 11/1 looks promising.

Our Choice – Quilixios e/w

17.35 – Wetherby’s National Hunt Flat Race

The Aintree Festive closes with this 2 mile, 2 furlong flat race, and we have a choice for e/w punters who might want a final flutter of the day. It’s a 19 horse field but our attention goes to Tripoli Flyer from the Fergal O’Brien yard.

A promising sort, 10/1 is a good price in a large field.

Our Choice – Tripoli Flyer

About the game

The 6 Horses Challenge is a great way to get involved without a significant outlay. In fact its free to play.

The game is available to both new and current Bet365 customers, and is pretty straightforward to play, even if you are not a horse racing fan.

Choosing a winning horse is challenging, even for prolific punters, especially in a race with over ten or twenty runners. You can research your selections – there are a variety of online tipsters who will offer their insights and thoughts on which horses should win or go pretty close.

Whether you’re going solo or joining forces in a syndicate, your knowledge of racing might pay off, but it’s also true that a beginner could have an equal shot at success and the odds of winning are better than the national lottery.

If you’re the sole player to predict all six winners, you can take 100% of the jackpot prize. If there are multiple successful predictors who have picked out all 6 race winners then the £100,000 prize is divided among them.

With an attractive jackpot pool, the Bet365 6 horse challenge is becoming much more popular, especially with the Cheltenham Festival and Grand National punters.

Its really giving the ITV7 Racing competition a run for its money.

Rules

The 6 Horses Challenge is accessible for free in its designated section on the Bet365 website and allows for only one entry per person each round. Bet365 enforces strict rules against multiple entries by a single individual or coordinated groups, reserving the right to invalidate all entries by such participants if suspected.

To participate, predict the winners in the specified races within the 6 Horses Challenge section. Entries close at the start of the first race and can be edited until then, including changes for non-runners. Unaltered non-runners default to the unnamed favourite under standard rules.

Disqualified horses are considered as losing selections.

Race selections for each 6 Horses Challenge round are at Bet365’s discretion. Outcomes are based on official post-weigh-in results, excluding Double Result concessions.

In a dead heat, all tied horses are treated as winners for that round.

Participants can view their past and current entries in the My History section of the 6 Horses Challenge page.

Prizes

Prize details per round are listed in the 6 Horses Challenge section.

If races are abandoned or voided, they’re excluded from the Challenge, affecting the prize structure. A single abandoned race results in a 50% prize reduction. Two abandoned races void the round.

Prizes are allocated post the final race’s result, with the total prize for six correct predictions being the maximum for a single winner. Shared prize pools among multiple winners will be equally divided.

For significant prize amounts, Bet365 may contact winners directly.

Winnings are subject to standard account verification before withdrawal and are payable only to the account holder.

Restrictions

Participation in the 6 Horses Challenge is distinct from standard betting and does not qualify for other Bet365 promotions.
