ITV Renews ‘Vera’ For Season 11

Vera isn't going anywhere. Less than a week after the tenth season launched, ITV has renewed the Brenda Blethyn fronted drama series for an eleventh season, TVWise has confirmed. The news was announced yesterday by Blethyn herself at the Television Critics Association press tour. BritBox North America Orders ‘Father Brown’ Spin-Off ‘The Sister Boniface Mysteries’

Father Brown is getting a spin-off. Britbox has ordered The Sister Boniface Mysteries, a ten episode drama revolving around the character of Sister Boniface who originally appeared in the first season of Father Brown. Lorna Watson is on-board to reprise her role as the sleuthing nun. It's worth noting that this has only been commissioned for the U.S. arm of BritBox and at present there is no UK broadcaster attached to the project. It is not immediately clear if BBC One, who commission and air parent series Father Brown, will look to acquire the spin-off. Read More

E4 Picks Up UK Rights To ‘Supernatural’ Season 15

E4 is sticking with Supernatural until the end. Mere weeks after TVWise revealed that they had picked up the UK rights to season 14, the Channel 4 owned digi-net has announced that they have also secured the show's fifteenth and final season.
