‘The Cry’ Indie Synchronicity Films Launches Australian Office Led By Ruth Underwood
The Cry indie Synchronicity Films has announced plans to launch a dedicated Australian office based in Melbourne. Synchronicity Australia will be headed by former BBC Drama Development Producer Ruth Underwood. Despite the on-going COVID pandemic, Call The Midwife is on track to return this Christmas. Filming is now underway on the Christmas special of the BBC's long-running period drama. Production on season ten will begin following the special, but as a result of the later than usual production start the order for season ten has been trimmed to seven episodes.

Power spin-off Power Book II: Ghost will receive its UK premiere on StarzPlay on Sunday September 6th, it has been announced. Alongside announcing the premiere date, StarzPlay has also released the trailer and key art for the series. Power Book II: Ghost picks up shortly after the events of the original series and follows Tariq St. Patrick as he navigates his new life and his desire to shed his father’s legacy intertwines with the mounting pressure to save his family, including his mother Tasha, who is facing charges for the murder her son committed. 
The second season of Good Trouble will receive its UK premiere on BBC Three on Sunday August 16th at 6am, it has been announced.
