BBC Three has set a premiere date for the fourth series of Cuckoo, with all episodes due to land on Thursday August 2nd.
Created by Robin French and Kieron Quirke, the comedy centres on the Thompson family of Lichfield. Greg Davies stars as Ken, the perpetually exasperated dad, with Helen Baxendale as his wife Lorna, and Taylor Lautner as Dale, the family’s well-meaning but hopeless American lodger. Esther Smith and Tyger Drew-Honey play their grown-up children, Rachel and Dylan.
The new series finds Ken in the throes of a midlife crisis after losing his job, with his attempts to get back on track repeatedly derailed by the chaos at home. As ever, Dale is rarely far from the centre of the trouble.
