Spain v Saudi Arabia on TV: Live Streaming Details

Spain go into this match under pressure to deliver after a flat 0-0 draw with Cape Verde in their Group H opener left Luis de la Fuente’s side without a point and facing questions about their ability to live up to their pre-tournament billing.

La Roja struggled for creativity against Cape Verde and were only really sparked into life when Lamine Yamal came on with 19 minutes to go. The 18-year-old Barcelona forward is now expected to start from the beginning here, alongside Nico Williams, after both were kept on the bench initially while returning from injury.

Ferran Torres and Gavi are likely to drop out to accommodate them, with Pedri and Rodri continuing to control midfield and Mikel Oyarzabal again expected to lead the line. Victor Munoz remains a doubt with a hamstring problem.

Spain will draw some comfort from 2010, when they lost their opening group game to Switzerland before going on to win the World Cup. All four teams in Group H are level on one point, so a win here would put them back in the driving seat.

Saudi Arabia were encouraged by their opener against Uruguay, taking the lead through Abdulelah Al Amri in the 41st minute before being pegged back late on by Maxi Araujo’s equaliser.

Georgios Donis is expected to set his side up to be compact and dangerous on the counter, with Salem Al-Dawsari offering a real threat from wide areas. The Saudi captain has scored 27 goals in 111 international appearances and will be central to anything his side create here.

Firas Al Buraikan leads the attack with 15 international goals to his name, while goalkeeper Mohammed Al-Owais will need to be at his best if Spain get Yamal and Williams firing from the off.

The two sides have met twice before at World Cups, with Spain winning 1-0 at the 2006 tournament. Saudi Arabia have also lost both previous friendlies against La Roja and are still looking for a first ever win over Spain at any level.
