What channel is Bournemouth v Aston Villa on?

Bournemouth have turned their season round in a fortnight. The 5-1 defeat at Chelsea after the international break looked a worrying moment for Marco Rose, but four straight wins have followed, the latest a comfortable 3-0 victory at Manchester United on Sunday.

That run also includes a first league win of the season against Sunderland and European wins over Sturm Graz and AC Milan. The Cherries are now 13th and only two points off sixth, and they reached this round with a 4-0 win over Lincoln City.

Rose is expected to rotate. Michele Di Gregorio, Bafode Diakite, Julio Soler, Ryan Christie, Ben Gannon-Doak, David Brooks, Amine Adli and Alvaro Rodriguez are all in line for starts, while Adam Smith, James Hill and Lewis Cook could keep their places.

Junior Kroupi made his comeback from a long-term injury on Sunday but is more likely to begin on the bench, and Alex Scott is still missing.

Aston Villa are in excellent form, with six wins and a draw from their last seven. That run began with a 3-1 win at Coventry City in the third round, took in a 1-0 win at Newcastle, and peaked with Saturday’s 2-1 defeat of Manchester City at Villa Park.

Unai Emery’s side have been scoring freely, though clean sheets have been harder to come by, and they sit ninth in the Premier League.

Emery is also expected to make widespread changes. Pau Torres could keep his place to give Matty Cash and Victor Lindelof a rest, Ian Maatsen may start after returning from injury, Lamare Bogarde could fill in at right-back, and Leon Goretzka is in line for his first Villa start, with Brian Madjo leading the line. Alejandro Garnacho and Tammy Abraham are likely to be on the bench.

Villa have had the better of this fixture in recent years and have a good record at the Vitality, which gives them the edge in a tie where both managers are likely to name much-changed sides.
