Benfica v Celtic Live Stream

TNT Sports have the whole Europa League, and this one takes the main 20.00 slot alongside most of the round. HBO Max carries the same coverage for anyone streaming.

Torreense v Sunderland went earlier at 17.45, with Bournemouth v Sturm Graz and Lyon v Crystal Palace also on tonight. A full round going at once means TNT spread the games across their channels, so check which one you need before kick off.

Celtic need a performance.

Martin O’Neill’s side lost their opener 3-1 at home to Ferencvaros, part of a run of three straight defeats that also took in two losses to Rangers. A 2-0 win at Motherwell on Sunday steadied things and keeps them top in Scotland.

The Champions League exit still hangs over the season. Celtic led LASK 4-0 on aggregate and went out anyway, losing the second leg 5-1 in Austria.

Benfica are a different proposition. Marco Silva took over after Jose Mourinho left for Real Madrid and, following an early stumble against St Gallen, put together a long unbeaten run that included beating AC Milan 2-0 in their Europa League opener.

Porto ended that before the international break, winning 3-1, but Benfica responded with a 2-0 win over Vitoria on Sunday. The Estadio da Luz has been close to impregnable this season, with the hosts yet to lose there.

The clubs last met in the Champions League group stage back in 2012.
