Netflix Sets UK Premiere Date For ‘Nightflyers’; Releases Trailer & Key Art

George R. R. Martin’s Syfy series Nightflyers will receive its UK premiere on Netflix UK on Friday February 1st, it has been announced. Netflix has also released the trailer and key art for the series.

Nightflyers is set in the year 2093 and follows a team of scientists aboard The Nightflyer, the most advanced ship ever built, as they embark on a journey to find other life forms. Their mission takes them to the edge of the solar system, and to the edge of insanity, as they realize true horror isn’t waiting for them in outer space – it’s already on their ship.

The ten episode drama series, which is based on the Game Of Thrones author’s novella of the same name, is produced by Universal Cable Productions and co-produced by Netflix and stars Eoin Macken, David Ajala, Gretchen Mol, Jodie Turner-Smith, Angus Sampson, Sam Strike, Maya Eshet, and Brían F. O’Byrne. Jeff Buhler adapted the novella for television and serves as showrunner and executive producer. George R. R. Martin, Brian Nelson, Mike Cahill, Andrew McCarthy, Gene Klein, David Bartis, Doug Liman, Alison Rosenzweig, Michael Gaeta, Lloyd Ivan Miller and Alice P. Neuhauser also serve as executive producers.
