Ivory Coast v Curacao Live Streams

Ivory Coast go into this final group game with their World Cup destiny firmly in their own hands, knowing a win will seal second place in Group E and book their place in the round of 32 for the first time in the country’s history.

Emerse Fae’s side got off to the perfect start in their opener, with Amad Diallo’s 90th-minute goal snatching a 1-0 win over Ecuador.

Their second game against Germany was a different story, taking the lead through Franck Kessie before conceding twice late on to Deniz Undav, going down 2-1 in heartbreaking fashion.

Despite that defeat, Ivory Coast showed they can compete with the very best at this level, going toe to toe with Germany for large periods and arguably deserving something from the game.

Fae’s squad is fully fit with no fresh injury concerns, and Yan Diomande, who has created seven chances across the first two games, is expected to be the dangerman again in Philadelphia.

Curacao have had a remarkable first World Cup despite the heavy 7-1 opening defeat to Germany, bouncing back brilliantly to hold Ecuador to a goalless draw in their second game.

Dick Advocaat’s side can still qualify for the knockout rounds if they beat Ivory Coast and Ecuador fail to win against Germany, though the path is a narrow one.

Jürgen Locadia is a doubt with a knock picked up against Ecuador and faces a late fitness test, with Advocaat expected to stick with the same back five that kept Ecuador out in their previous outing.

Tahith Chong, the former Manchester United youngster, is Curacao’s standout attacking threat alongside the Bacuna brothers, Juninho and Leandro, all three of whom are Dutch-born and bring quality and experience to a side ranked 50 places below their opponents by FIFA.

Ivory Coast have not conceded a single goal in their last four matches and go into this as strong favourites, but after what Curacao produced against Ecuador, Advocaat’s side have proven they are more than capable of causing a surprise.
