England v New Zealand Live Stream Details

England take on New Zealand at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida on Saturday night in their penultimate World Cup warm up.

Thomas Tuchel’s side have one more friendly against Costa Rica to follow before their Group L campaign begins against Croatia on June 17.

It is the first meeting between the two nations in senior men’s football since June 1991, when England won both fixtures 1-0 and 2-0. Over 35 years on, New Zealand arrive as World Cup qualifiers for only the third time in their history.

England come into the match with some concerns following a poor run of friendly results. A 1-1 draw with Uruguay and a 1-0 defeat to Japan in March, where Japan became the first Asian side to beat England in senior men’s football, left supporters nervous. Tuchel will be desperate for a positive performance here.

The good news is that several key players return to the squad after the Champions League final. However, the Arsenal quartet of Declan Rice, Bukayo Saka, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke are all being given extra time to recover and are unlikely to start.

Kobbie Mainoo and Elliot Anderson could pair up in midfield, with Morgan Rogers on the right wing and Jude Bellingham operating centrally.

New Zealand arrive on the back of a heavy 4-0 defeat to Haiti in Fort Lauderdale on June 2, though they did beat Chile 4-1 in March. Chris Wood, who became his country’s outright leading male appearance maker against Haiti, is expected to lead the attack in Tampa.

Midfielders Ryan Thomas and Joe Bell both missed the Haiti game through injury, and only Bell has a chance of returning here.

New Zealand face a tough World Cup group against Belgium, Iran and Egypt, and Darren Bazeley will be looking for a much improved display against England.
