QPR currently sit in mid table and look pretty much safe as they face a difficult game today.
While Martí Cifuentes’ side had some early setbacks, they avoided any major crises and currently sit 14th in the table with 44 points.
The Hoops have built a 14 point cushion over the relegation zone and are just seven points off the top six.
With a strong run of form, a late push for the playoffs isn’t out of the question. In their last game, QPR suffered a 2-1 away defeat to Portsmouth.
The Blades entered the season as one of the top three promotion favourites alongside Leeds and Burnley.
So far, wily Chris Wilder’s side has lived up to expectations, firmly holding second place in the table with 70 points.
They trail league leaders Leeds by five points, while third-placed Burnley is just two points behind.
The Blades’ recent 3-1 home defeat to Leeds proved costly, allowing their promotion rivals to extend their lead.
That result widened the gap to five points, increasing the pressure on Wilder’s men in the final stretch of the season.
