Is Cardiff v West Ham on TV?
Yes. Cardiff v West Ham is on Sky Sports+, which is included with a Sky Sports subscription. The game starts at 19.45 GMT at the Cardiff City Stadium on Wednesday 4 November 2026, in gameweek 14 of the Championship.
Cardiff are 17th in their first season back in the Championship, five points above the relegation zone. A three-game unbeaten run, with home wins over Watford and Birmingham either side of a 2-2 draw at Middlesbrough, ended with a 3-0 defeat at Wolves on Saturday.
Brian Barry-Murphy’s side are still waiting for a first away win of the season, but home is a different story. Cardiff are one of four sides yet to lose a league game at home and have won their last three at the Cardiff City Stadium.
The defence is stretched. Gabriel Osho is suspended, and Dylan Lawlor, Callum Chambers and Krystian Bielik are all injured. Will Fish is a doubt with a hamstring problem picked up at Molineux, Perry Ng may have to play through a knock, and midfielder Alex Robertson is a concern after going off with an Achilles issue.
West Ham are eighth and four points off the automatic promotion places, but the pressure is building on Nuno Espirito Santo. A 3-2 home defeat to Southampton, in which they conceded three before half time, was followed by a 3-1 loss to West Brom, the first time they have lost back to back league games since relegation.
Their away form is the reason for optimism. West Ham have the only unbeaten away record in the division and won their last two trips without conceding, 6-0 at Lincoln and 1-0 at Swansea, and they are still the Championship’s top scorers.
Konstantinos Mavropanos misses a second game with a knee injury, and Keiber Lamadrid is still out. Nuno could make several changes, with Joel Veltman, Tomas Soucek, Manor Solomon and Taty Castellanos all in contention to start.
This is the first meeting between the clubs since Cardiff won 2-0 in 2019.
