Everton v Coventry is on Sky Sports Main Event and Sky Sports Premier League, with streaming through the Sky Sports app. The game starts at 20.00 GMT at the Hill Dickinson Stadium on Friday 6 November 2026, in gameweek 10 of the Premier League.
Everton have won two in a row against Newcastle in the space of five days, beating them 3-1 in the Carabao Cup and then 1-0 at St James’ Park on Monday. That has lifted David Moyes’ side to seventh, two points behind Liverpool in fifth.
It is a strong start to the season given the criticism of Everton’s summer window. They went unbeaten through their first six league games, drawing at Tottenham along the way, before back to back defeats against Chelsea and Arsenal.
Jack Grealish misses a third game in a row for disciplinary reasons. Moyes could name an unchanged side after the win at Newcastle, though Jarrad Branthwaite needs a late check after coming off near the end. Thierno Barry has been scoring regularly and leads the line, with Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall behind him.
Coventry have recovered well from a difficult start. Lampard’s side lost their first four Premier League games but have won three of their last five, beating Nottingham Forest, Newcastle and then Sunderland 3-1 last weekend.
They sit 16th, only three points behind eighth-placed Bournemouth, despite defeats at Tottenham and at home to Fulham in between. Coventry are out of the Carabao Cup, so the league is their only focus until January.
Aurele Amenda, Haji Wright, Josh Eccles and Luke Woolfenden are all out, while Bobby Thomas and Frank Onyeka will be assessed. Jack Rudoni, the club’s top scorer, should play behind Taiwo Awoniyi.
Lampard managed Everton before Moyes returned, which adds an edge to his first visit to the club’s new stadium, and Coventry won on their last trip to Everton’s home ground.
