What channel is Fenerbahce v Liverpool on?

Fenerbahce are being led by a familiar face to Liverpool supporters. Dirk Kuyt, who spent six years at Anfield as a player, took over as interim manager last week after Ismail Kartal resigned following a 2-1 derby defeat to Galatasaray, but his first game in charge also ended in a 2-1 loss, at home to Goztepe on Saturday.

The Istanbul side are still looking for their first win in this season’s Champions League, having drawn 1-1 with Roma and 2-2 with Slavia Prague either side of a 6-0 thrashing at Aston Villa. Home form has been their stronger suit, and the Sukru Saracoglu is never an easy place to visit.

Jayden Oosterwolde is out with a hamstring injury and Kojo Peprah Oppong was forced off against Goztepe, while Nathan Ake is a doubt with a muscle problem. That could leave Archie Brown and Milan Skriniar in central defence between Mert Muldur and Levent Mercan. Marco Asensio is out after knee surgery, so Mason Greenwood, Irfan Can Kahveci and Oguz Aydin should play behind Romelu Lukaku.

Liverpool have a perfect record in the Champions League so far, beating Atletico Madrid, LASK and then Villarreal 4-3 after coming from two goals down. They are third in the league phase table, and another win would strengthen their hold on a top-eight place.

Andoni Iraola’s side had won five in a row, including a 2-0 win over Brighton and a shootout victory over Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, before Arsenal won 1-0 at Anfield on Sunday in a game that ended in controversy. Liverpool are still unbeaten away from home this season.

Ryan Gravenberch will miss the game after Iraola confirmed a heel fracture, and Giovanni Leoni is not yet back from his knee injury. Conor Bradley and Jeremie Frimpong are also out, so Ronald Araujo should continue at right-back alongside Jeremy Jacquet, Virgil van Dijk and Kostas Tsimikas, while Lewis Koumas could come in for Alexander Isak, with Hugo Ekitike still working back from his Achilles injury.

An early kick off in front of a hostile Istanbul crowd makes this a tricky trip, and Liverpool will want a quick response after the disappointment of Sunday.
