Man Utd v Roma on TV details
Yes. Man Utd v Roma is on TNT Sports, with the game also streaming on HBO Max. The game starts at 20.00 GMT at Old Trafford on Tuesday 3 November 2026, in matchday four of the Champions League league phase.
Manchester United have gone nine games without a win in all competitions, and their last victory came against Sabah almost two months ago. Saturday’s 2-0 defeat at Chelsea was their third in a row, despite a first half in which Amad Diallo missed two good chances to put them ahead.
Morgan Rogers opened the scoring after the break, and Lisandro Martinez was then sent off for two bookings in quick succession, conceding the penalty that Cole Palmer converted. United are 17th in the Premier League, above the relegation zone only on goal difference, and Michael Carrick is under heavy pressure despite the club backing him after the 3-0 home defeat to Bournemouth.
Europe has not offered much relief either. After beating Sabah, United lost at Atletico Madrid and then 4-1 at Como, leaving them in the bottom half of the league phase table.
Martinez is suspended domestically but available here and should partner Harry Maguire, with Noussair Mazraoui and Diogo Dalot either side. Carrick could move Bruno Fernandes out wide with Youri Tielemans in an advanced central role and Andrey Santos and Kobbie Mainoo behind, leaving Mason Mount and Bryan Mbeumo in attack. Patrick Dorgu, Luke Shaw and Benjamin Sesko are out, while Marcus Rashford and Amad will be assessed.
Roma come into this in good form, unbeaten in five with four wins. Gian Piero Gasperini’s side lost a thriller 4-3 to Real Madrid in the Champions League, but they have since beaten Slovan Bratislava 4-0 and been scoring freely in Serie A, drawing 3-3 at Napoli and winning 4-2 against Cagliari and 5-2 at Udinese.
The defending has been less convincing, with goals going in at the other end in most of those games, which offers United some hope.
Gasperini has no fresh injury problems after the Udinese win, but Muhammed Bah, Paulo Dybala, Manu Kone, Lorenzo Pellegrini and Mile Svilar are all still out. Donyell Malen, one of Serie A’s leading scorers this season, is the main threat, with Matias Soule supporting him.
Old Trafford has rarely been a happy place for Roma, with United enjoying some big European nights against them over the years, but this is a very different United side to the ones that beat them in the past.
