Spurs v Aston Villa on TV and live stream
TNT Sports 1 has the early kick off, with TNT Sports Ultimate carrying it alongside and HBO Max streaming it. The game starts at 12.30 BST on Saturday 19 September 2026 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
Tottenham have not scored a Premier League goal this season.
Four games have brought two points and 17th place, a single point above the relegation zone. Conor Gallagher’s header against Liverpool on Tuesday ended the drought in a technical sense, though it came in a 3-1 cup defeat and counted for nothing.
Last weekend’s goalless draw with Everton was the first scoreless top-flight game ever played at this stadium, and the boos have already started. Only the 2017-18 Crystal Palace side has previously gone four rounds of a Premier League season without scoring.
Sandro Tonali missed the Liverpool tie with a knock and is a doubt, as is Pedro Porro. Dejan Kulusevski, Xavi Simons, Wilson Odobert and Mykhaylo Mudryk are all long-term absentees, while James Maddison may be ready for a longer spell after two appearances off the bench.
Villa are worse off still on one point from four, and that point came in a goalless draw at Hull City. They did at least get off the mark against Nottingham Forest last weekend, Alysson scoring in a 2-1 defeat.
The goals have arrived since, seven of them in three games across all competitions. A 3-2 win at Club Brugge in the Champions League was followed on Wednesday by a 3-1 win at Coventry in which Tammy Abraham scored twice.
Joao Gomes is available again having served a three-game ban for his red card on debut. Pau Torres, Leon Goretzka, Ian Maatsen and Amadou Onana are out, while Matty Cash and Brian Madjo have not been ruled out yet.
Unai Emery has won four of his last five meetings with Tottenham, the exception a 2-1 Spurs win in May that mattered a great deal at the time.
