Universal TV Acquires UK Rights To Audience’s Spy Thriller ‘Condor’

Universal TV has acquired the UK rights to Condor and will premiere the spy thriller on Monday October 29th at 9pm, opening with the first two episodes.

The series is a contemporary take on James Grady’s novel Six Days of the Condor and its 1975 film adaptation Three Days of the Condor. Max Irons stars as Joe Turner, a young, idealistic CIA analyst who writes an algorithm that uncovers a covert plot.

When everyone else in his office is killed, he is forced to go on the run while trying to work out who he can trust. William Hurt, Brendan Fraser and Mira Sorvino also feature.

Condor originally launched in the United States on the Audience network in June 2018, where it was quickly renewed for a second season.

A UK home had been sought since the series was first taken to international buyers at the 2017 LA Screenings.
