PSG and Tottenham Hotspur engage in an hopefully enthralling encounter when the English side pay a visit to the Parc des Princes as part of the league phase of the ongoing 2025-26 UEFA Champions League.
PSG enter the fixture on the back of a 2-1 loss to German giants Bayern Munich; both goals were scored by Luis Diaz before he got the red card. This loss was the French side’s first loss of their UCL title-retention campaign, and a win over Spurs would surely provide the momentum which was somewhat dented by the loss against the Bavarians.
Despite losing at home to Bayern Munich, PSG are still in a comfortable fifth position on the league phase charts, and having the admirable record of never losing two back-to-back home games in the premier European club competition, Luis Enrique and his team can be hopeful of a strong display against last season’s Europa League winners.
Tottenham Hotspur, although currently on an unbeaten run in their UCL campaign, have much to worry about their form, having lost three out of their last five fixtures in all competitions, the latest of which was a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Arsenal in the North London derby.
The away record of Spurs has also not been one worthy of special mention; the Lilywhites have drawn both their UCL games while playing on the road. The last meeting between PSG and Tottenham Hotspur also resulted in a Les Parisiens win, when Luis Enrique’s men beat those of Thomas Frank on penalties to clinch the UEFA Super Cup.
A win for the French outfit can be predicted, taking into account the current forms and recent results of both teams participating in Wednesday’s fixture.
