Sky One Sets UK Return Date For The Flash Season 5

Sky One has confirmed the UK return date for The Flash season five, bringing the hit superhero drama back to British screens.

The new season will resume on Sky One later this month, continuing the long running series inspired by DC Comics. UK viewers will once again follow Barry Allen as he faces fresh threats while trying to protect Central City.

Season five picks up after the dramatic events of the previous run, with the introduction of Barry and Iris’s daughter from the future, Nora West Allen. Her arrival brings major consequences, disrupting the timeline and creating new dangers for Team Flash.

Grant Gustin returns as Barry Allen, alongside Candice Patton, Danielle Panabaker and Carlos Valdes, all reprising their roles as the core members of Team Flash.

The fifth season also introduces a new central villain in Cicada, a metahuman antagonist whose motivations are more personal and grounded than previous foes. The storyline shifts toward a darker and more emotional tone, focusing on family, legacy and responsibility.

The Flash has remained one of Sky One’s most popular US imports, consistently drawing strong audiences thanks to its mix of action, humour and character driven drama. The show continues to be a key part of the channel’s superhero lineup.

Episodes will also be available via Sky’s on demand services, allowing viewers to catch up or watch at their own pace.

With the UK return date now set, fans can prepare for another fast paced run of episodes as The Flash season five explores the consequences of time travel and the cost of heroism.
