The third season of Freeform’s drama series The Bold Type will receive its UK premiere on Amazon Prime Video UK on Wednesday April 10th, it has been announced. New episodes will then continue to be made available to stream every Wednesday, less than 24 hours after they initially air on Freeform in the United States.
The Bold Type follows the outrageous lives and loves of those responsible for the global women’s magazine, Scarlet. The rising generation of Scarlet women lean on one another as they find their own voices in a sea of intimidating leaders. Together they explore sexuality, identity, love and fashion. The drama series, which is inspired by the life of Hearst Magazines Chief Content Office Joanna Coles, is a co-production between Freeform and Universal Television and stars Katie Stevens, Aisha Dee, Meghann Fahy, Sam Page, Matt Ward, Stephen Conrad Moore, Nikohl Boosheri and Melora Hardin.
In the third season, Jane, Kat and Sutton are all dealing with the aftermath of some major decisions. Meanwhile, Scarlet Magazine is undergoing some changes, with new staffers brought on board who bound to ruffle some feathers. The trio will continue to push the boundaries of what it means to be young women juggling careers and love lives while embracing their identities. The series also continues to explore important issues, both political and personal, such as workplace harassment, female reproductive rights, data hacking and racial profiling, among others.
