Hearts v Dundee Live Stream Details
Premier Sports has selected St Johnstone v Hibernian as its live game from this round, so Hearts v Dundee is not on UK television. Hearts TV is carrying the stream, with video access depending on where you are watching from and audio passes available to subscribers. BBC Radio Scotland has free commentary on Sportsound and BBC Sounds, and highlights follow on Sportscene on BBC One Scotland and BBC iPlayer. Kick off is at 15:00 BST on Sunday 6th September 2026.
Hearts have turned their season around and arrive on the back of a derby win.
Wouter Vrancken lost his first four games in charge, but his side are now seven unbeaten after a 3-1 win at Hibernian on Thursday, James Wilson, Laurent Mendy and Josh McPake all scoring at Easter Road.
That run includes a 4-0 win over Dundee United and the penalty shootout victory over Rapid Vienna that took them into the Conference League league phase.
Blair Spittal is a doubt after leaving Easter Road in a moon boot, though Vrancken played down the seriousness. Tom Renaud is out with the ankle injury he picked up against Rapid Vienna, with Malachi Fagan-Walcott, Ageu and Christian Borchgrevink also unavailable.
Dundee sit sixth on seven points and have been awkward opponents for most sides this season.
Steven Pressley’s team beat Aberdeen and Dundee United 2-0 apiece before losing to Hibernian, then drew 1-1 with St Johnstone in Wednesday’s Tayside derby after leading until injury time.
Joe Westley has scored both of their league goals. Simon Murray is ruled out, while Ashley Hay and Imari Samuels are targeting returns this month.
There is a personal edge for Pressley, a former Hearts captain who made more than 250 appearances at Tynecastle and lifted the Scottish Cup there in 2006.
The record makes uncomfortable reading for the visitors. Hearts have won their last nine home league games and took all three meetings between the clubs last season.
