Wales v Ghana on TV: Live Streaming Details

Wales host Ghana at Cardiff City Stadium on Tuesday evening in an international friendly, with the visitors using the game as their final warm-up before the 2026 World Cup.

It is a historic occasion too, with this being the first time an African nation has ever played Wales in a senior men’s international.

Wales come into the match still hurting from a painful World Cup playoff exit. Craig Bellamy’s side finished second in their qualifying group behind Belgium before losing to Bosnia and Herzegovina on penalties, with misses from Brennan Johnson and Neco Williams proving decisive in a 4-2 shootout defeat.

A 1-1 draw with Northern Ireland followed, and Bellamy will be looking for a much-improved display on home soil to give his squad some momentum ahead of the Nations League campaign in September.

Ghana arrive in Cardiff in poor form despite having qualified for the World Cup. The Black Stars won eight of their ten CAF qualifying matches, but have since lost five games in a row against Japan, South Korea, Austria, Germany and Mexico.

Manager Carlos Queiroz will be desperate to end that run before heading to North America, where Ghana face England, Croatia and Panama in Group L.

For Wales, Ben Davies and Connor Roberts have both returned to the squad after long injury absences, though both may start on the bench. Harry Wilson has pulled out, which could open the door for a front four of David Brooks, Nathan Broadhead, Sorba Thomas and Lewis Koumas.

Ghana are expected to welcome back Baba Abdul Rahman and Ernest Nuamah, with Antoine Semenyo, Jordan Ayew and Inaki Williams likely to lead the attack.

Possible Lineups

Wales: Darlow; Williams, Rodon, Mepham, DaSilva; Sheehan, Ampadu; Brooks, Broadhead, Thomas; Koumas

Ghana: Ati-Zigi; Seidu, Oppong, Djiku, Opoku, Rahman; Partey, Sibo; Williams, Semenyo, Ayew
