Sky Sports have this one among a busy run of 14.00 kick offs, with Liverpool v Brighton, Man Utd v Bournemouth and Hull v Brentford all starting at the same time. Sky spread them across their channels, so check which one Selhurst Park lands on before kick off.

Both sides need a lift.

Pierre Sage has found replacing Oliver Glasner hard going. Palace are 14th with two league wins from seven, and a 5-0 defeat at Brighton last weekend was followed by a 2-2 draw at Besiktas in the Europa League on Thursday.

Falling behind has become a habit, with Palace conceding the opening goal in each of their last four games across all competitions. They did beat Newcastle at Selhurst Park last season.

Newcastle are 11th and have lost three of their last four. The run included a 4-1 defeat at Coventry and a 1-0 home loss to Aston Villa last time out.

Matthias Jaissle went unbeaten through his first five games in charge, but goals have since dried up and the defending has not improved, which is a poor combination heading to a ground that has been awkward for them.
