Bayern Munich v Arsenal live stream

This is the pick of the round between two domestic heavyweights.

Vincent Kompany and Mikel Arteta were team-mates at Manchester City and now manage the champions of Germany and England. Neither has lost domestically this season.

Bayern were nearly embarrassed on matchday two, going two down at Viking FK before leading 3-2 and conceding a 90th-minute equaliser. They answered it by beating RB Leipzig 6-1 at the weekend, Luis Diaz scoring a hat-trick.

The Allianz Arena has been a fortress in this competition for well over a decade. Bayern have not lost a home group or league phase game there since Manchester City beat them in December 2013, a night Kompany spent as an unused substitute.

Arsenal are the only side yet to concede a goal in this season’s competition, following a 1-0 win in Napoli with a 3-0 defeat of Lille. Jurrien Timber, Eberechi Eze and Bukayo Saka all scored inside seven minutes that night.

Sunday brought a 1-0 win at Nottingham Forest through Noni Madueke. Arsenal have lost their last three visits to this ground, the one win coming when Arteta captained the side here as a player.
