Overseas it is a different story. CBS Sports Network, Paramount+ and Fubo carry the Championship in the United States, Viaplay take it across the Nordics, and West Ham have confirmed the game will be available internationally on West Ham TV.

First plays third.

Swansea lead the Championship and have won four in a row, the latest a 1-0 at Millwall settled by Ronald in the 90th minute. Vitor Matos has built it on defence, with no side in the division conceding fewer.

West Ham are third and beat Lincoln City 6-0 on Tuesday, though the Imps were down to nine men inside 23 minutes. They also put six past Wrexham last month.

A win would not take the Hammers top, which tells you how far clear Swansea have already got. It would close the gap considerably, though, and this is the hardest afternoon either side has faced so far.

The division’s meanest defence against its most prolific attack is the shape of it. These two have not met for years, having spent much of the past decade in different divisions.
