The World Series of Darts returns to New York City this weekend, with the bet365 US Darts Masters bringing two nights of elite darts action to the iconic Madison Square Garden.
Luke Humphries arrives as defending champion, having beaten Nathan Aspinall 8-6 in the final last year after defeating Stowe Buntz, Danny Lauby and Gerwyn Price on his way to the title.
He is the only player in the field to have won the event before, and a second victory this weekend would make him only the second two-time US Darts Masters champion after Michael van Gerwen.
Cool Hand heads into the tournament in good form, having teamed up with Luke Littler to help England claim a record extending sixth World Cup of Darts title earlier this month.
His recent record against Littler is also encouraging, winning three of their last four meetings, though he will at least be relieved that the draw means they cannot meet until a potential final in New York.
Littler is the man everyone wants to see and goes into the tournament as the outright favourite.
The Nuke has been in relentless form across 2026, winning the PDC World Championship, the World Masters, the UK Open and the Premier League, and Madison Square Garden will provide another massive stage for the 17-year-old to add to what is already a remarkable collection of titles.
Gian van Veen is among the other notable names making the trip to New York, along with Gerwyn Price, Stephen Bunting, Jonny Clayton, James Wade and Josh Rock.
On the home front, Jim Long is the sole US Tour Card holder to qualify automatically, joined by a strong contingent of North American players competing for prize money and an Ally Pally spot in the North American Championship, which also takes place during the event.
With Humphries priced to defend his title and Littler the man to beat, this promises to be a compelling two nights of darts in one of the world’s most famous sporting arenas.
