Czech Republic v South Africa on TV: Live Streaming Details

Both sides arrive in Atlanta looking for their first points of the tournament, having each lost their opening Group A fixture.

Czech Republic returned to the World Cup after a 20-year absence but were beaten 2-1 by South Korea in their opener, having led through Ladislav Krejci’s headed goal before the Koreans turned it around in the final 20 minutes.

Miroslav Koubek is expected to name an unchanged side, with captain Tomas Soucek marshalling midfield alongside Alexandr Sojka and Patrik Schick leading the attack.

South Africa had a miserable opening night, going down 2-0 to hosts Mexico and finishing the game with nine men after red cards for Sphephelo Sithole and Themba Zwane.

Hugo Broos will need to reshuffle his side with both players suspended, and is considering switching from a back five to a 4-2-3-1 formation, with Lyle Foster expected to lead the line.

Jayden Adams is likely to keep his place in midfield, with Thalente Mbatha expected to come in alongside him in the double pivot.

The two nations have met just once before, a 2-2 draw at the 1997 FIFA Confederations Cup, so there is very little head-to-head history between them.

A defeat for either side would not end their chances of going through, as eight of the best 12 third-placed teams will also qualify, but a win here would put the victors in a strong position heading into their final group game.
