England v Croatia on TV: Live Streaming Details

England go into their World Cup opener as one of the favourites, having become the first UEFA nation to qualify after winning all eight games in their group without conceding a single goal.

Thomas Tuchel’s side were less convincing in two March friendlies, failing to beat either Uruguay or Japan, before signing off with a comfortable win over Costa Rica.

Bukayo Saka is a doubt for the opener, which could open the door for Noni Madueke to start alongside Jude Bellingham and Anthony Gordon in attack.

Croatia arrive in Arlington with a point to prove after a disappointing group stage exit at Euro 2024, their worst tournament showing since 2006.

Zlatko Dalic’s side still topped their qualifying group, dropping only two points across eight games, and have key men Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic both available.

Dallas based forward Petar Musa could be handed a start up front after a strong MLS season, with Josko Gvardiol again expected to anchor the defence.

England have lost just once in their last eight World Cup openers, while Croatia famously beat the Three Lions in the 2018 semi final on their way to the final.

The two sides have not met since that night in Moscow, with both nations also facing Ghana and Panama in what looks a winnable looking Group L.
