England World Cup Fixtures: TV and Streaming Details

England begin their World Cup campaign against Croatia in Dallas on 17 June, a repeat of the 2018 semi final that Croatia won on their way to the final.

Thomas Tuchel’s side then head to Boston to face Ghana on 23 June, before rounding off the group stage against Panama in New Jersey on 27 June.

England have never lost to either Ghana or Panama, having beaten Panama 6-1 at the 2018 World Cup and drawn 1-1 with Ghana in a 2011 friendly.

Group L looks winnable on paper for Tuchel’s side, with Croatia representing by far the toughest test of the three.

England were seeded in Pot 1 alongside the three host nations and the other leading sides, which has shaped how the knockout draw could unfold.

If they win Group L, England would face a third placed team in a round of 32 tie in Atlanta on 1 July.

Topping the group also means England would avoid fellow top seeds Argentina, Spain and France until the semi finals at the earliest, assuming those nations also progress as group winners.

From there, the round of 16 would follow in early July, with the quarter finals taking place between 9 and 11 July.

The semi finals are scheduled for 14 and 15 July, with the third place play off on 18 July and the final at MetLife Stadium on 19 July.

Finishing second in the group would send England down a tougher looking path, with a greater chance of meeting one of the other top seeds earlier in the tournament.

Either way, qualification from Group L looks well within reach for a squad many see as genuine contenders this summer.
