Northern Ireland v Guinea on TV: Live Streaming Details

Northern Ireland travel to Cadiz in Spain on Thursday evening to face Guinea in an international friendly, the first of two warm-up games before their UEFA Nations League campaign begins in September.

It is the first game back for Michael O’Neill’s side since their 1-1 draw with Wales in March, following a painful World Cup qualifying playoff exit against Italy. Northern Ireland lost 2-0 in Bergamo to miss out on a first global finals in 40 years.

O’Neill has used this camp to hand opportunities to younger players, with uncapped teenagers Braiden Graham, Kieran Morrison and Ceadach O’Neill all included in a 23-man squad. Ten of Northern Ireland’s last 12 goals have been scored by players aged 21 or younger, which shows the direction the team is heading.

Several regulars are absent, with Conor Bradley, Dan Ballard, Paddy McNair, Eoin Toal, George Saville and Brad Lyons all unavailable. Ethan Galbraith has returned to the squad after recovering from a calf injury, and Jamie Donley could lead the attack having scored in two of his last three international appearances.

Guinea arrive under Portuguese coach Paulo Duarte, who has been rebuilding since taking charge last August. His side finished fourth in their CAF World Cup qualifying group and are now focused on the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.

Borussia Dortmund striker Serhou Guirassy, who scored 22 goals for his club last season, has been rested for this trip. Kaba Sory, Aliou Balde and Aboubacar Camara have also withdrawn through injury, though Balde’s place has been taken by Gassimou Sylla of Anderlecht.

After the match, Northern Ireland head to Lille to face World Cup bound France on Monday 8th June, making this a useful dress rehearsal ahead of a tough double header.
