E4 has set a UK premiere date for the animated Harley Quinn series, with the show starting on Thursday May 7th at 10:30pm.
First seen on DC Universe in the US, the adult animated comedy follows Harley after she finally breaks things off with the Joker and sets out to make it on her own as the criminal queenpin of Gotham City. With Poison Ivy and a ragtag crew of DC castoffs in tow, she sets her sights on a seat at the biggest table in villainy, the Legion of Doom.
Kaley Cuoco voices Harley and also serves as an executive producer, with Lake Bell as Poison Ivy and Alan Tudyk as the Joker. Written by Justin Halpern, Patrick Schumacker and Dean Lorey, the series is firmly aimed at grown-ups, trading on plenty of swearing, violence and irreverent humour.
