Sky 1 has moved the UK premiere date for Touch, the new Kiefer Sutherland drama, which will now launch on Tuesday March 20th at 8pm after originally being lined up for earlier in the month.

Created by Heroes writer Tim Kring, Touch marks Sutherland’s first television series since 24. He plays Martin Bohm, a widower and single father unable to connect with his mute 11-year-old son, Jake (David Mazouz). Martin comes to realise that Jake is far from shut off from the world: the boy can see hidden patterns linking apparently unrelated events, communicating not in words but in numbers that Martin must learn to read.

Danny Glover co-stars as a professor who studies gifted children and helps Martin make sense of his son’s ability. Sky1 is the exclusive UK home for the series, screening episodes close behind their US broadcast.
