Following on from Fox’s decision to re-shuffle their spring schedule and move the premiere of Kiefer Sutherland’s new series Touch, the series’ UK broadcaster, Sky 1, has announced that they are moving the premiere of the series by a week. Touch will now have its UK debut on the channel on Tuesday March 20th at 8pm.
Touch revolves around Martin Bohm (Kiefer Sutherland), a widower and single father who is haunted by an inability to connect to his mute 11-year-old son, Jake (David Mazouz). Everything changes when Martin discovers that Jake possesses the gift of staggering genius: the ability to see things that no one else can in the patterns that connect seemingly unrelated events. Jake is indeed communicating, but it’s not with words, it’s with numbers.
