Archive Netflix UK Acquires True Crime Anthology Series ‘Manhunt’, Discovery UK Retains Linear Rights – TVWise

Netflix UK has secured the first window rights to Discovery’s true crime anthology drama series Manhunt. The first season, subtitled Unabomber, will premiere on the streaming service on Tuesday December 12th, when all eight episodes will be available to stream.
This marks the second UK deal that producer and international distributor Lionsgate Television has lined up for Manhunt: Unabomber. TVWise previously reported that Discovery Channel UK had agreed a deal for the show. This new deal with Netflix does not impact Discovery’s agreement; they retain linear rights and plan to air Manhunt: Unabomber in 2018.
