Channel 5 has ordered a new documentary series fronted by Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford. Titled Eamonn & Ruth: How The Other Half Live, the six-part series takes a look at the lifestyles of the super-rich.
Across the run, the presenters meet some of the world’s multi-millionaires and billionaires to find out exactly what they spend their fortunes on, acting as the viewer’s guides into a normally closed-off world. Holmes and Langsford, who are married, front the series together.
The series is produced by Spun Gold Television, with Maureen Goldthorpe as executive producer and Benedetta Pinelli as series producer. It was commissioned by Channel 5’s factual commissioner Guy Davies, who said the pair would be the channel’s guides into a secret world, taking a look “under the sink and in the broom cupboard” along the way.
