Comedy Central UK’s newest original series Brotherhood will premiere on Tuesday June 2nd at 9:30pm, it has been announced.
Created by Patrick Carr and Paul McKenna, Brotherhood follows 20-somethings Dan (Ben Ashenden) and Toby (Johnny Flynn) who become surrogate parents for their little brother Jamie (Scott Folan) when their mother suddenly passes away. Dan is an uptight ball of neuroticism whilst Toby is as laid back as you can be. Their polar opposite “parenting” styles are brought into sharp focus when handling a younger sibling who hasn’t said a word since their mum died. Will the boys prove to meddling Auntie Debbie (Sarah Hadland) they can look after Jamie? Will Dan figure out where he stands with hottie Poppy (Ellie Taylor) from work? Will Toby get through the day without burning down the flat? One thing’s for sure: the boys will have to rely on each other since, well, that’s all they’ve got. The comedy is being produced by Big Talk Productions with Kenton Allen, Caroline Leddy and Jill Offman serving as executive producers.
