Sky Atlantic has set a UK premiere date for the fourth season of Girls, with the HBO comedy-drama returning on Monday January 12th at 10pm, just a day after its US debut.
Created by and starring Lena Dunham, the series follows four friends making their way through their twenties in New York. The new season sees Hannah leave the city to take up a place at the prestigious Iowa Writers’ Workshop, a move that puts real strain on her relationship with Adam and on her ties to the friends she leaves behind.
Back home, Marnie, Jessa and Shoshanna each reach turning points of their own as they wrestle with messy relationships and the uncertainties of growing up. Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet return alongside Dunham.
