Channel 5 has acquired the UK rights to two American procedurals from CBS: NCIS: New Orleans and CSI: Cyber.
A spin-off of NCIS, NCIS: New Orleans stars Scott Bakula as Special Agent Dwayne Pride, who heads the agency’s field office in the Louisiana city, handling cases that touch military and Navy personnel across the region. Lucas Black, Zoe McLellan and CCH Pounder co-star.
CSI: Cyber is the newest series in the CSI franchise, moving the action online. Patricia Arquette plays Special Agent Avery Ryan, a cyberpsychologist leading an FBI unit that investigates crimes rooted in the digital world, a character inspired by a real-life expert in the field. Both shows are set to arrive on Channel 5 in the coming months.
