The four episode first season of RTE’s drama series Love/Hate will receive its UK premiere on Channel 5 on Wednesday July 24th at 9pm, it has been announced.

Created by Stuart Carolan, Love/Hate picks up as a catastrophic event ignites the tensions in a small-time drug gang and family, friends & the community must live with the impact. The series, which was acquired by Channel 5 in an exclusive deal with ITV Studios Global Entertainment earlier this year, stars Aidan Gillen, Robert Sheehan, Ruth Bradley, Ruth Negga and Brian Gleeson. In the show’s four episode first season, Darren Tracey, having fled Dublin when a gun was found in his house, returns home from Spain for a visit when his brother is released from prison. The visit is only a short one but a lot can happen in that time, especially if you and your friends are members of a gang. When one of the gang is killed, suspicion runs rife and thoughts turn to revenge.

TVWise’s UK Premiere Dates page has been updated with this new information.
