TLC has set a UK premiere date for Mistresses, ABC’s new drama series, with the show due to begin on Friday June 14th.
An American take on the British series of the same name, Mistresses follows four close friends in Los Angeles and the secrets and affairs that complicate their lives. Alyssa Milano stars as Savi, a lawyer trying for a baby with her husband while drawn to a colleague, alongside Jes Macallan as her free-spirited younger sister Joss, Yunjin Kim as psychiatrist Karen, who has crossed a line with a patient, and Rochelle Aytes as widowed mother April.
Developed for ABC by K.J. Steinberg, the series leans into the same mix of romance, betrayal and friendship that drove the original. TLC is bringing all thirteen episodes of the first season to UK viewers.
