ITV2 has set a UK premiere date for Animal Practice, with the NBC comedy starting on Monday February 11th at 8:30pm.
Set at a busy New York veterinary hospital, the series stars Justin Kirk as Dr. George Coleman, a gifted vet who adores his animal patients but has little patience for their owners. His comfortable set-up is upended when his ex-girlfriend, Dorothy Crane, played by JoAnna Garcia Swisher, inherits the practice and becomes his new boss. Among the supporting players is a scene-stealing capuchin monkey, Dr. Rizzo.
The show was cancelled by NBC after a short run in the US, but ITV2 has picked up the full set of produced episodes for British viewers. Tyler Labine and Bobby Lee co-star.
