Universal Channel has set a UK premiere date for The Finder, the Bones spin-off, with the series starting on Wednesday July 11th.
Created by Bones writer Hart Hanson and loosely based on Richard Greener’s Locator novels, the show stars Geoff Stults as Walter Sherman, an Iraq War veteran left with an uncanny knack for finding anything or anyone after surviving a roadside bombing. Working out of a bar in the Florida Keys, Walter takes on cases for clients chasing missing people, objects and answers that no one else can track down.
Michael Clarke Duncan plays his loyal friend and minder Leo Knox, with Mercedes Masöhn as Deputy US Marshal Isabel Zambada, Walter’s contact in law enforcement, and Maddie Hasson as Willa, a young parolee who helps out with the legwork. Lighter and quirkier than most procedurals, it carries over the warm, offbeat tone of its parent show.
