Sky Atlantic has set a UK premiere date for Awake, the NBC drama starring Jason Isaacs, with the first episode airing on Friday May 4th at 10pm.
Created by Kyle Killen, the 13-part series follows LAPD detective Michael Britten, who survives a car crash with his wife and son and then finds himself living in two parallel realities. In one, his wife Hannah survived and his son did not. In the other, his son Rex is alive and his wife is gone. Each time he goes to sleep, he wakes in the other world, with no way of knowing which is real.
Each reality comes with its own psychiatrist, its own police partner and its own cases, and Britten gradually realises he can use clues that cross between the two worlds to crack investigations. Laura Allen, Dylan Minnette, Cherry Jones, BD Wong, Steve Harris and Wilmer Valderrama co-star.
