Entertainment One has signed a multi-territory home entertainment distribution deal with Kudos Film & Television and Shine International for their upcoming 8 part drama series Hunted, from former X-Files executive producer Frank Spotnitz. The deal gives eOne DVD, Bluray and digital distribution rights to the series outside of North America, where the series will be distributed by HBO Home Entertainment.
Hunted was created by Frank Spotnitz and follows Sam Hunter, an operative working for a private intelligence agency who survives a failed attempt on her life, which she believes was orchestrated by members of her own team. After recovering from the attack, Hunter goes back to work, not knowing who tried to kill her or who she can trust. The drama series stars Melissa George, Adam Rayner and Adewale Akinnouye-Agbaje and is produced by Kudos Film, in association with Cinemax and Spotnitz’s Big Light Productions. The series is set to premiere on BBC One in the UK and Cinemax in the US this fall.
