TV Land has renewed The Exes for a second season. The sitcom will return in June with a twelve-episode run, the network’s president Larry W. Jones confirmed.
Created by Frasier writer Mark Reisman, the show follows three divorced men sharing a New York apartment owned by their divorce attorney. Donald Faison plays the ladies’ man Phil, Wayne Knight the stay-at-home Haskell, and David Alan Basche the newly single Stuart, whom their attorney sets up as their new roommate. Kristen Johnston plays that attorney and landlord, Holly, who lives right across the hall, with Kelly Stables as her assistant Eden.
The first season averaged around 1.5 million viewers, enough for TV Land to keep it as part of its growing original comedy line-up. The second season is due to launch alongside the network’s new sitcom Have Faith.
