Sky Living has dropped four of its American imports, parting ways with Army Wives, Chuck, Private Practice and White Collar.
The four span a range of genres. Army Wives, a Lifetime drama, follows the spouses and families living on a US Army base. Chuck, NBC’s action-comedy, centres on an ordinary computer expert who becomes a reluctant spy after a database of government secrets is downloaded into his head; the series has just wrapped its final season in the States.
Private Practice, a spin-off from Grey’s Anatomy, follows Dr Addison Montgomery, played by Kate Walsh, after she leaves Seattle for a private clinic in Los Angeles. White Collar, from USA Network, pairs Matt Bomer’s charming con artist Neal Caffrey with the FBI agent who once chased him, the two now working cases together.
The four had all featured on Sky Living, which has built much of its schedule around US drama. Their departure leaves gaps in the channel’s line-up of imported series.
