After taking in the project in March after it was initially developed for TNT, USA Network has handed out a formal pilot order to Shooter, a hour-long drama series based on the 2007 feature film of the same name and Stephen Hunter's novel Point Of Impact. Discovery Channel UK is sticking with Bear Grylls. The factual channel has acquired the UK broadcast rights to the eight episode second season of Running Wild With Bear Grylls after striking a deal with international distributor Electus. Neil Morrissey (Line Of Duty) has joined the cast of ITV's period drama Grantchester for its six episode second season, which is currently in production in London, Cambridge, and Grantchester for a 2016 premiere. He will play Harding Redmond, a resident of Grantchester and grieving father whose teenage daughter Abigail is found dead in suspicious circumstances. Heartbroken and desperate to get to the bottom of what happened to Abigail, Harding accuses Sidney Chambers (James Norton) of having an inappropriate relationship with her. Read More
