Fox’s ‘Rosewood’ Adds Sherri Shepherd In Recurring Role
30 Rock and The Soul Man star Sherri Shepherd has been tapped for a recurring role on Fox's Morris Chestnut fronted procedural Rosewood, TVWise has confirmed. She will play play Doctor Anita Eubanks, a new medical examiner who is described as being "confident, flirty, playful, smart, wise-cracking and good at her job". Starz's newest drama series is crossing the Atlantic. Virgin Media has closed a deal with Starz Digital - the global digital and on demand licensing arm of the US premium cable network - to acquire the exclusive UK rights to Ash Vs Evil Dead, starring Bruce Campbell and Lucy Lawless, TVWise has learned. The first five episodes of Ash Vs Evil Dead are now available to watch via Virgin on-demand service, while new episodes will continue to be made available to Virgin Media TV customers every Tuesday.
ABC Family has renewed their hit, though controversial, drama series The Fosters for a fourth season, the network announced on Monday. The show's fourth season will premiere in 2016, by which time the network will have 
Amazon Prime Instant Video UK has ordered their first original drama series. The UK arm of the streaming service has given the green-light to The Collection, an eight episode period drama set in the world of French haute couture just after the Second World War, which hails from Oliver Goldstick, War & Peace indie Lookout Point and BBC Worldwide, TVWise has learned.
Big Light Productions is adding to their executive ranks. The independent production company set up by former The X-Files writer and executive producer Frank Spotnitz has hired European TV executive Lorraine Sullivan, TVWise has learned. She will be responsible for developing French and European television, film and documentary projects for the London based indie.
And The verdict is in. The BBC Trust, after an extended consultation and review process, has issued their final decison on the BBC's plans to shut down BBC Three as linear channel and move it online. The Trust has broadly approved the plans, which will see BBC Three move online by March 2016.
BBC One has released the first trailer for the two-episode fourth season of Luther, which is set to premiere on Tuesday December 15th at 9pm.
